Ada Seniors Fly Drones
Ada High seniors, Jonathon Isom, Adan Allmilla, and Sara Ellis, flew a drone to get pictures of Waddell Vineyards along with Ada’s Aviation teacher Chris Eckler. Ada High’s Aviation Program has been very successful the past few years especially with all of their latest curriculum and hands on experiences offered to students. These experiences are what give the class such a unique feel.
Not only does the program provide students with hands on drone experience, but it also gives students the opportunity to fly manned aircraft, and obtain their private pilots license. The class helps students prepare for the tests, as well and offering students a wide range of different potential career options.
The goal for the Senior class this year is getting their part 107’s to be able to fly drones commercially, while also working on working towards their future careers in aviation. Throughout the year, the Aviation class will continue to work on their success, and continue to make Ada proud!
