Our Journalist of the Week is Karla Silva. She was born in Ada, Oklahoma on March 26, 1997. Her favorite subject is Science and her least favorite subject is English. Her favorite sports team is Thunder and her favorite food is Mexican food. Her favorite color is purple and her favorite movie is Finding Nemo. She has a pet dog named Milo and her favorite thing to do is splay sports. She has two brothers named Ali Gonzalez(21) and Aey Gonzalez(18) and also a sister named Olga Gonzalez(22). She wants to be a detective when she grows up. Her 5 random facts are “I’m Mexican, I love playing basketball, I like being around family, I have three best friends, and I like being weird.” Her favorite thing about journalism is working with the basketball girls.
