Summer Stories

Jade Saunders – Practiced with the cheerleaders every Tuesday and Thursday. They had early morning practices at 6:30. They ran at the park and ran up and down the ampitheatre stairs. They practiced stunts and taught the new girls the dances. Practices were normally four hours and it was for regionals. Jade is the only senior and is looking forward to all of the new girls and it’s going to be a great year. The cheerleaders also went to UCA camp at OU.

 Chloe Donaghey – Went swimming and went to Minnesota. She hung out with her friends and also went to Falls Creek Baptist camp. She is excited to watch football games and watch the couganns.

 Sean Williams – Sean worked at Wintersmith pool this summer. He went to band camp. He’s looking forward to football games and graduation.

 Coleman Dennis – Coleman went on a month long trip to Haiti. Where he attended preching school and taught english. He also did work projects. There were 12 students in his english class. Coleman says it was “very fun” and his favorite part were the people. His location in Haiti was CAP haitian. CAP haitian is a city of about 190,000 people on the north coast of Haiti.

 Caden Johnson- This summer Caden Johnson tanned everyday and hungout with friends. Along with Chloe she also went to Falls Creek. Caden is a Cougann and went to a 6 day pom camp. Where the Couganns learned four dances. One of them was their state kick routine. Which they will compete with in december at Ocu. Caden says “I’m very excited for this year and she thinks they have a great squad this year.
