Ada High School will be electing new class officers on Thursday, Aug. 1, through Friday, Aug. 2. Students will vote in their English classes.

Potential candidates had to sign up and complete an application packet that included a resume, current transcript, signed application, 2 letters of recommendation and a parental permission form.

According to adviser, Shawn Freeman, elected officers are expected to take on leadership roles as well as be involved with student activities, lead chats during pep assemblies and coordinate activities with their class sponsors.

New class officers will be announced Tuesday, Sept. 6.
