Ada High Christmas Traditions
Christmas is a family-celebrated holiday, and after time, traditions are developed. At Ada High, these are a few of the students’ and teachers’ traditions.
“Every year me and my family go to see a movie on Christmas”- Mackenzee Crosby
“Every year since I was one, or two years old, my parents, my brother, and I go to our grandparent’s house to spend time with each other and watch the Twilight Zone marathon, drink hot chocolate and have a great time”- Dylan Barnoski
“We spend Christmas with family, have a ham dinner and watch Christmas movies after we open presents”-Sherrie Wilson
“We decorate Christmas cookies every year!”- Abbie Gandy
“We act out the nativity scene, on Christmas”- Jordan Marshall
“On the eve before Christmas Eve, Papa Santa Claus comes to our house. If you quit believing, you quit receiving.”- Donnieta Ray
“On the day before Christmas Eve, we get together and play games like Wii and Rock Band. On Christmas we always go to church service. Christmas morning we have brunch, we usually have sausage balls, pigs in the blanket, monkey bread, and champagne peach punch.”- Janet Barrick
“We make a Jesus cake, and then we say a prayer.”- Kylen Cooper
“We open a present on Christmas Eve!”-Paige Carter
“All of my aunts and uncles come over to my house. We have a Santa Bag. You put [presents] in and take turns opening them.”-Marina Hernandez

Wow, a lot of people have traditions that are different but kind of similar. I love how most families tend to watch a Christmas movie!
