National Honers Society recognizes students that illustrate an outstanding academic record. Ada High School is an official chapter to NHS. The meetings are held the first Friday of every month during lunch. In order to become a member of NHS you must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.85 or higher.

This years NHS officers are Austin Pettigrew as President, Sage Love as Vice President, Giovanni Gutierrez as Secratary, Sarah Morgan as Treasurer, Mekenzi Rockey and Taylor Skillern as Co-Community Service Chair, Cali Henderson as Social Chair, and Hunter Frazier as Public Relations.

The main purpose of NHS is “to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develope character in the students of secondary schools.”
