Senior, Danny Lamb, defines Mock Trial as,  “a unique opportunity for individuals to discover new and exciting ways to express their inner attorney.”  Mock Trial is a competition where teams are assigned a case and play the parts of witnesses , attorneys , and other court officials in front of a real judge.  Mrs. Freeman is the Mock Trial teacher and Mrs. Dean is the coach.  They both expect 100% from the students.  The class works on direct and cross direct and memorizing affidavits.

Senior, Courtney Altman, has developed awesome cross examination skills.  For example,  she made Sophomore,  Brenden Compton, admit to murder leaving him speechless.  She is a big asset in the quest to win a state title.  Senior Haley Dean is also an attorney with a lot of experience.

Mock Trial has two teams this year,  an all Senior team and a mixed grade team. They work hard every day and have a great chance to win state.  Good Luck Cougars!
