App of the Week
There have been several apps released by Twitter within the past few years. June 2012, one of their most used apps today called “Vine” was founded by Dom Hofmann, Rus Yusupov and Colin Kroll. Twitter acquired it in October 2012. The App originally was based for IOS and now it has expanded to Android and Windows with a similar version of the App. Vine was listed on “Time Magazine’s” 50 best Android apps for 2013. After a few months of its release it became one of the most used video applications in the market. So, we are sure you are wondering what is Vine, that is if you don’t already know. Vine is an app that allows users to create a short video clip up to six seconds long, while recording through the Vine camera. Vine gives you the ability to follow your friends and see the videos that they post. Most of the videos are random and are just for fun, but some actually have messages. You can hold the screen down for six seconds and record or you can take as many shots as you want in that time. It’s a way for people to get creative and for others to see your creativity.
