Poetry Out Loud is a contest we have here at Ada High School. Poetry out loud was created in 2006 by National endowment for the arts and The Poetry Foundation. The contest was create awareness in the art of performing poetry. They award prizes, like cash money to schools that win and other things. Poetry Out  loud is a great oppurtunity to learn poems and how to recite poems. In the Ada High’s competition they give out a first, second, and third place. First place gets to move on to regionals and then from there if they place they will go to state and if you do good at state you will go to Nationals.
