“WGC!”

WGC!

Have you ever wondered why random students are carrying water gallons around in the hallways? It started off with one girl Roudee Humphers. Roudee Humphers is a cross country runner, a soccer player, and also an active gym member.  She enjoys eating healthy and staying in shape.  After seeing how well Roudee was doing drinking a gallon of water a day, Isabel Gutierrez, also a cross country runner, decided to start taking her own gallon to school. Then after a week, almost everybody had a water gallon! According to the co-founder of the WGC, Isabel Gutierrez,” The Water Gallon Clan is a group of people who carry around  water gallons to benefit their health and ability to do better in sports.” Joining this club is also a great benefit to your facial complexion, digestion, and helps keep you hydrated, but there are also some precautions. You can do a lot of damage to yourself if you abuse the privilege of having drinking water. According to scientists, drinking too much water can result in damage to your bladder and kidneys, resulting in death. Luckily there are more positive effects  than the negative. If you are interested in joining this  outstanding club, talk to Isabel Gutierrez or Michelle Williams. Don’t be shy! 🙂
