The Lady Cougar’s Aaliyah Blakley has this week’s play of the week. The Lady Cougars visited the Tecumseh Savages Tuesday, January 7^th.  Aaliyah, along with company, made amazing plays to soar past the Lady Savages. Although Aaliyah is probably more well known on the offense side of the ball, there was one defensive play that stood out to everyone.  A Lady Savage drove in for an easy two points, but Aaliyah wasn’t having any of that.  As the ball lifted towards the goal, Aaliyah rose and sent the ball soaring out of bounds, sending the crowd into a frenzy. In the words of Aaliyah, “I just felt like they were coming in my house, so I had to kick them out.”
