Teacher of The Month: Coach Walker

Mrs. Walker has been recognized for her hard work and excellent teaching skills, not only this month as Ada High’s Teacher of The Month, but also as Teacher of The Year. Her reputation around the school is full of kind words, teaching Leadership skills and coaching the Ada High Cheerleaders, Mrs. Walker is where the community and school spirit coalesce. Mrs. Walker stated,  “I am very excited about being Teacher of The Month. It was very unexpected but a total honor”  Students and teachers around the school are talking about Coach Walker’s achievements and hard work. Here is what they have to say:

“Mrs. Walker Works very hard to do things the right way, she is like a perfectionist when it come to her work and anything that could have Ada High’s name involved. Most of all she truly cares for her students and school.” – Brandi Morris

“She is a very nice lady, a fun person that teaches very well I think she definitely deserves the title of Teacher of The month.” -Jacob Faulkenberry

“I am very happy that Katie was chosen as the AHS Teacher of The Month, and not surprised that she is also Teacher of The Year. She does so much for Ada High and never takes credit for all of the hard work and effort. Katie sometimes gets the “jobs” that no one else really wants but she always takes it, runs with it and puts her full effort into making things a success. She truly has a heart for the students and for charitable work. I think Katie is very deserving of this award.” – Mrs. Moore

Ada High greatly appreciates all of the effort Mrs. Walker has put forth, for not only the school and students, but also for the community.
