Mrs. Paula Vandeveer is new to the teaching staff of Ada High but not to AHS. As a former Cougar, Mrs. Vandeveer has returned to her roots to teach the same classes she once attended as a student.

Mrs. Vandeveer has taken over classes formerly taught by Mrs. Hollingsworth.  She is teaching Environmental Science and Biology.

Mrs. Vandeveer taught at Seminole for two years before coming to teach at Ada High School.  When asked about her return to AHS, Mrs. Vandeveer replied, “Tradition is everything.”

1. She is learning to fly a plane from her flying instructor/husband.

2. Mrs. Ray was her cheer coach when she attended Ada High School.

3. She was born in Iowa.
