Ada band has a long history of contest performances, most recently attending marching contests at Yukon and Mustang.  They performed in both preliminaries and finals at the Yukon contest, but only in preliminaries at the Mustang contest.

On Sept. 26, Ada band performed in the preliminary round at Yukon. The class 4A band was rewarded for their hard work with a success in class award, gaining first place. The band advanced to finals winning tenth out of the 14 bands in attendance.

On Oct. 3, the Ada band competed again at the Mustang competition winning second in class 1A for their preliminary performance.

The band will perform next at Tigerpalooza where they will give exhibition performance, not competing for awards.
