The Lady Cougars took on  the Victory Christian Conquerers on Saturday, March 1st. The game was for the Regional Championship. Ada started off weak, which led Victory Christain to have the lead of 10-7 at the end of the first. Ada than held Victory Christian to only two points in the second quater because of their outstanding defence. The Cougars were leading 15-12 at half time. Throughout the third quarter the game was consistantly back and forth, but Ada won the that battle 22-18. The Cougars scored 10 points in the first five minutes of final quarter and held Victory Christian scoreless. With only 2:35 left in the game, Victory Christian only scored one three pointer. Once again, Ada proved that their defence can compete with anyone. The final score was 32-23 which left the Cougars as one of the eight teams that were named 4a Regional Champions. The Lady Cougars will be taking on Fort Gibson and the winner will advance to the State Tournament. Good luck to our Lady Cougars!!
