Abby Machetta, Staff Writer

Abby Machetta is a senior at Ada, and second year staff member on the Cougar Call. Machetta's primary focus is photography, she enjoys taking action shots and portrait shots.

After Machetta graduates she plans on getting her Real Estate license, and doing photography on the side.

Last year Machetta entered into the Oklahoma Scholastic Media state competition and placed, second and third in the sports photo division.  Machetta also placed second in the photo gallery division.

Starting off his match in the duel with Tecumseh, sophomore, Tre Ivy wrestled against Tecumseh in the 126 weight class. Ivy won his match up against Tecumseh.

Trying to Todd Tecumsehs 152 weight class, junior Kohner Gallagher won his match up in the duel, on Thursday night.

Trying to flip over for a take down, sophomore William Thomas wrestled Tecumsehs 160 weight class. Unfortunately Thomas lost his match up with Tecumseh by two points.

In the Cougars duel against Tecumseh, sophomore Sayir Tamayo wrestled against Tecumsehs 120 weight class. Tamayo threw down Tecumsehs 120 and won his match.

Dribbling down the court, sophomore Amaya Frizell went to score a layup. Frizell has been playing basketball for 10 years shows her heard work very well.

Battling it out in the finals against Shawnee junior Jaxson Robinson (5) was heading to the goal. This was the cougars third time facing off the wolves this season with their record being 1-2 against Shawnee.

Playing defense against Lawton IKE, senior Jake Shannon made sure they didnt score. The Cougars kept the game very tight, as we came out with a victory 52-49 heading on to the next round.

During the East Central Oklahoma Classic tournament held by The Chickasaw Nation, Junior Jaeden Ward (15) was getting ready to pass the ball. The Lady Cougars beat Northwest Classen 62-39.
