“Juan” Poet to Rule Them All
On January 29th, a select few Ada High School Students competed against one another in the Poetry Out Loud competition. The twelve students recited a poem of their choosing from the Poetry Out Loud website, http://www.poetryoutloud.org/.
The contest is for the grades 9-12, with the exception of 8th graders participating in 9th grade classes. They were judged by the three judges, Dr. Bob Greenstreet, Jenifer Greenstreet, and Dr. Teresa Rothrock.
The winning contestants were:
1st place: Juan Oseguera
2nd place: Morgan Galbreaith
3rd place: Micah Hutchins
Juan Oseguera has now won twice in the Ada High competition and will be preceding to the Regional Division. All the following students participated in the school-wide competition:
