Planning to Pay

Paying for college is a task most people are faced with during their lifetime. Scholarships and grants are the best way to obtain this money. Some scholarships are specifically for different things such as grades, gender, ethnicity, and even eye color.  Acquiring a scholarship can be a straining process, but it is well worth the work and effort to be able to attend college for less.

Coca-Cola sponsors a scholarship for $10,000-$20,000, and the requirements simply include being a senior in high school and having a 3.0 GPA.

The Hope College Distinguished Artist Awards scholarship  is given to students with strong academic records and outstanding creative abilities.  It provides students with 2,500 dollars each year.  To apply, you need 15 pictures of outstanding art, portfolios and a 2.6 Grade Point Average.

The Max Christianson Division of  Nursing Scholarship is open to students majoring in nursing with a minimum 3.0 GPA.  You can view more about it by clicking the link above.
