Special Olympics
Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in my attempt, is the Special Olympics Oath.
On April 6, 2016 Ada High went to Pauls Valley and competed in the Special Olympics. Four Ada High students participated and placed in numerous activities.
Austin Gibson placed second in the softball throw and second in the 25 meter walk.
Major Rogers placed first in the softball throw and fifth in the 50 meter run.
Shania Strunk placed second in the softball throw and first in the 25 meter walk.
Nathan Leighton placed first in the softball throw and third in the 50 meter run.
“All our athletes did a wonderful job and we are very proud of each one of the them! It’s not all about winning…..” is the what Sheri Wright, Ada Highs Special Education teacher, said when asked how she felt about this years Special Olympics.
Ada High is proud to have these brave students who go and represent Ada High each and every year.

Its great that we have such amazing athletes and its awesome that are school does this,Ada has such amazing athletes!
