The crowd was a living beast as the Senior Night basketball games started to begin.  The Ada Cougars were going up against the Shawnee Wolves.  The last time the Cougars faced the Wolves, Shawnee came out with the win.  The tension in the air was accompanied with the cries of the student section as the tip started off the game.

The Lady Cougars were able to score at will against the Lady Wolves.  The Lady Cougars were able to gain a small lead on Shawnee.  The Lady Wolves fought back; however, so the Lady Cougars were going to have to have a great defense to win.  The Cougars were able to gain a lead against the Wolves.  The Cougars were able to score easily as the game continued throughout the match up.

Ada’s defense was on point as they continued to stop drives.  The Lady Cougars were able to to keep the lead they gained early on in the game and finish out the the fourth quarter.  The Cougars were as on point as the girls were as the also maintained the lead the earned.

The game was a battle but both the girls and the boys came out with a win.  The girls final score was Ada 45 and Shawnee 40.  The boys score was Ada 60 and Shawnee 48. Continue to cheer on Ada basketball as they head to Districts. GO COUGARS!
