As the music softened to a quite hum, the tournament in OBU started to begin.  Ada was faced up against Chandler in the first round.  The Cougars came out with such fire, that they took an early lead.  As the game went on, Chandler tried to make a comeback.  The Cougars wouldn’t give in to the Lions as they tried to pressure to offense.  The final score was Ada 69 and Chandler 34.  The first round was easily swooped away by the Cougars.

In the semi-finals, the matched up against the Meeker Bulldogs.  The game was an intense competition as the Bulldogs were relentless. In the final seconds of the game, number 13, Cory Kilby, made a game winning shot.  The final score was Meeker 54 and Ada 56.  The close game won the Cougars a seat in the championship game.

The crowds roared with anticipation as the two teams came out to the court.  To win the OBU tournament, the Ada Cougars were to face off against the Tecumseh Savages.  The game was well fought as both teams gave all they to win the championship.  When the final buzzer sounded off, the crowd went absolutely crazy.  The Ada Cougars were named OBU Champions.
