The Ada Lady Cougar golf team had two tournaments this week. On Monday, March 31st, Ada hosted their second tournament ever in Ada history. Returning this year as the only senior is Olivia Pruitt who shot a 98 as one bag. Following her in two bag was Kendal Wilson, returning as a sophomore this year, shot a 118. Meredith McGill, who is a freshman and is new this year, shot a 124. Rhyley Hager, a junior who is also returning this year shot a 112 for fourth bag. Taylor Durr who’s is another new golfer this year and is a freshman, shot a 120 for fifth bag.`As you can see we still have some work to do, but we can only get better. This was only our second tournament this season. Following this tournament, the Lady Cougars also had a tournament on Wednesday, April 2 in Ardmore. As a team we did a lot better. As one bag, Olivia Pruitt shot a 89. Kendal Wilson as two bag followed with a score of 101. Rhyley Hagar took third bag and ended up with a score of 110. Meredith McGill as fourth bag shot a 109 and Taylor Durr followed up with 117 for fifth bag. We improved a lot compared to Monday and only have more improvement to make as the season goes on and as we prepare for Regionals. Our next tournament will be next Monday on Arpil 7th in Sulphur.
