This past weekend the Ada Cougar Baseball team competed in the Ardmore-Lone Grove Shootout. This is an annual tournament held in Ardmore and Lone Grove. The Cougars came out victorious, winning the championship game on Saturday against Ardmore with a 9-1 victory. The Cougars got to the championship after playing Wyneewood in the first game, Duncan the second game, and then Lone Grove in the third game. The Cougars run ruled Wyneewood, defeated Duncan 13-6, and lost to Lone Grove 5-4. The Cougars rallied together after their defeat to go onto become the 2014 Champions of the Ardmore-Lone Grove Shootout.
