It was a slow game at first, but after Harrah scored the first touchdown of the game, it started to pick up. The Cougs came back scoring a field goal making the score 7-3, Harrah, to end the first. To start the second quarter the Panther’s scored a touchdown and went for the extra point making the score 15-3, Harrah. Junior #3, Cory Kilby, scored the Cougar’s first touchdown of the game with 2:47 left before the half. The game was slow until the second half. Junior #8, Montrell Black, scored Ada a touchdown. Gaining Ada the first lead of the game. Harrah scored their 3rd touchdown of the game at the beginning of the 4th making the score 21-17, Harrah. Junior #44, Garrett Beam, scoring another touchdown for the Coug’s and taking back the lead at 23-21. Harrah punts the ball and makes it with 1:48 left in the game. When all hope was lost for Ada, Black had an amazing one handed catch and took the ball all the way to the 40 yard line. With only 13 seconds left in the game Senior #45, Micah Simmer, scored the game winning touchdown. 29-24 COUGAR VICTORY!! Great win Cougs! Let’s “Rock the Redskins” in next weeks away game.
