Q: What made you come to Ada?

A: Well, that’s a long story. Coach Berus asked if I’d like to be a part of the great tradition that Ada has to offer, and I found it rather appealing, so here I am.

Q: What is your position at the school?

A: I am the ISD teacher, and in football, I am the offensive coordinator.

Q: What is your favorite part of the high school?

A: I just like interacting with the teachers and students, different conversations and different laughs, I like to cut up with people you know.

Q: Where did you previously teach?

A: Rogers, Arkansas

Q: Where did you go to college?

A: NEO Jr. Evangel Christian College in Springfield

Q: Where did you go to high school?

A: Ardmore High School

Q: What is most important to you in life?

A: Faith, family, and helping young men reach their goals and their fullest potential

Q: Have you coached somewhere previously, if so where?

A: Too many places. I started at Ardmore High as running back coach, Dickson Oklahoma DB’s and defense coach, Evangel Christian College DB’s coach, NEO running back coach, University of Missouri, NSU wide receiver coach, and OBU offense coach.

Q: To you, how is the season looking this year?

A: Looking good- first two games we would’ve liked to have better offense, but it’s always good when you look at film, and you can see glimpses of what you’re trying to accomplish. Hopefully, with enough practice, we can make those glimpses a reality.

Q: I heard that you had experience in modeling, what is that like?

A: I still do it, I was on a billboard outside Springfield. You can Google me man. It’s something fun. It’s something I never thought I’d get to do. [It’s] kinda funny how it happened- I took a picture of myself where I was smiling big, a lady saw it and said I had a nice smile, started taking [more] pictures and one thing led to another. I’ve been on billboards, advertisements, stuff for Wal-Mart. That really is me.
