Q: Where were you born and raised?

A: I was born in Norman, but I grew up in Tishomingo.

 

Q: Where did you go to high school?

A: Tishomingo.

 

Q: Where did you attend college at?

A: OU.

 

Q: What was your major?

A: Major in Mathematics, and have a minor in Education.

 

Q: What caused you to pursue this major?

A: While I was in college, I decided I wanted to be a teacher. Math was my favorite subject in high school and I had a knack for it.

 

Q: What was your first job after college?

A: I taught 7th and 8th grade math at Piedmont.

 

Q: When did you first start teaching?

A: Right after college.

 

Q: What caused you to come to Ada toteach?

A: I moved to Ada in the summer of 2016. With faculty changes in the high school, I decided I would apply.

 

Q: Did you ever have any connections or experiences with Ada before you taught here?

A: No, none.

 

Q: Do you plan on teaching here a long time?

A: I definitely plan on teaching here another 2-3 years, and after that we’ll see where the Lord leads me.
