Eric Drake Crowell is a 17-yea- old Ada High School senior and is beginning his first year of journalism as a staff writer for The Cougar Call.

Crowell has always had an aptitude for music and uses it as a way to express himself. He started learning to play the guitar at age five and hasn't stopped since. He aims to write columns reviewing different albums and artists during his time in journalism.

Crowell hopes to use his writing as a way to express his thoughts on music, school, and life in general to his peers and use his voice for good. By graduation, he wants to have made an impact in his school and go on to pursue a career in Music Education to continue his passion for the arts.

He enjoys acting in his free time as well as composing, singing and playing music of all genres. His realist point-of-view keeps him cool, calm and close to the ground. He plays trombone in the Ada Marching Band and guitar in the worship band at Ada First Baptist Church, while putting his relationship with God first.
