February’s Student of the month is Kate Pottebaum.

She was nominated by Mrs. Creed because “she is extremely nice, cooks for all the Bible club meetings, speaks before adult Sunday school classes, and was extremely instrumental in obtaining hosts for many of the Japanese students we are having this year.”

“The best way to make things better is to not make them worse.” is Kate’s favorite quote because “the quote solved all life’s problems.”

Kate enjoys hanging out with her friends, Meredith and Peyton, because they “help her stay focused in class.”

Her idea of a good student is 1. Integrity 2. Work hard 3. Respecting your teachers

Being the student of the month makes her feel “like a billion bucks.”
