Bending it like Beckham: Soccer
Ada Cougar Soccer Season has began. They got the ball rolling on Jan. 5th with their season’s long practices, early morning weightlifting, and everything else that comes with soccer season. They have a full schedule and good teams in their district.
The first soccer scrimmage of the 2015 season is on February 21st against Durant at Ada’s home field. This season will include numerous away games, so there will be a lot of traveling for the Ada Cougars on both the girls and guys side.
Coach Morrison said, “[We’ve] got a lot of returning starters, a lot of seniors, experience. Hopefully we can use that for the upcoming district. The goal is the same, make the playoffs, and giving ourselves an opportunity.”
