A “Plainview” To Victory
Ada High’s softball team has had an amazing season so far. During the games Friday and Saturday, they did a terrific job job of scoring.
On Friday, the Lady Cougars participated in a tournament at Plainview. They did an outstanding job claiming victory in both games with scores of 7-5 and 15-3.
Coach Mitchell had positive things to say about this year’s lineup. “They have improved and are doing well.”
Saturday’s battle against Tuttle resulted in a game one victory for the Lady Cougars with a score of 8-5. However, the second game ended in disappointment, as Tuttle took the win with a score of 4-0.
Coach Mitchell continues to motivate the girls to do better simply by saying, “You”ll get better everyday you work hard”.
After this season, two seniors will no longer be playing for the AHS Cougar softball team, Elizabeth Redman and Morgan Galbreaith. However, Senior Morgan Galbreaith plans to go out with a bang. “I want to top off my last season with a state ring on my finger.”
