Last Friday, the Ada Cougars had their first scrimmage of the season. Both the JV and the varsity team got to play and did an excellent job.

When asked about the scrimmage and how the team did, Head Coach Matt Weber responded with, “We got things to fix, but we gave good effort.”  This early in the season,  the team will will have plenty of time to work out any problems.

With the upcoming season closing in on the Cougars, fans want  to know how Coach Weber feels about this year’s team. Coach Weber addressed the question with this response, ” It’s been fun. We got really good guys that care about the team.”

This year’s AHS Cougar football team has a large senior force.   Coach Weber wants to see his seniors this year, “continue to lead by example and give the great effort they are showing this early in the season.”
