This week’s play of the week goes to Scott Johnson. Scott and the Cougars were playing the Pauls Valley, Panthers last Thursday May the 1^st. The Cougars had rallied back from a 7-0 deficit to tie the game at 7-7. Pauls Valley scored 2 runs to give them a 9-7 lead, going in to the bottom of the 7^th. Soon after, the Cougars tied the game to send it into extra innings. In the bottom of the 8^th Johnson hit a line drive single up the middle, sending in the winning run to take the game 10-9; starting off their districts with a bang.
