Soccer

This year’s soccer team is off to a great start: boys with 4 wins-3 losses and girls with 3 wins- 3 losses.  Things are looking pretty good for district plays starting April 3.  Coach Jones says, “This years districts are pretty tough, but we should do well.  There are high expectations, and we will be expecting to make play offs.”

Hard working, determined and impressive were the three words Coach Jones used when asked to describe his team this year and that they are. Tyler Degraw, starting forward and captain, says he, “feels good about going into districts” and “believes we are making it to playoffs.”  He states that, “this season is looking a lot better than last year’s and we’re going to win it.”

Ruslan Hinson, starting center mid and also captain, says “the Ada High soccer team is strong enough to beat the other teams for sure and we’ll be just fine.”

“Im feeling excited and I think this is going to be a good experience,” is what Roudee Humphers, starting holding mid and captain, stated when asked about going into districts.  She also states that, “This season has been really fun.  My teammates are the best part of being in soccer.”

Taylor Hodges, starting midfield and captain says, “I think we’re going to do good in districts.”   Hodges gave us a confident, “Yes!”  when asked if she believed her team would make it to playoffs.

Good luck to these hard working, determined and impressive Cougars!
