The PSAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)  will be given on the 15th of October and is the best of both worlds in the eyes of some students. Fisher Fulton, a student signed up for the PSAT, says why she is taking the test.  “I want to be a National Merit Scholar, and Mrs. Shertbert told me to.”

The PSAT is used to determine National Merit Scholars. The cost will be $15 and is well worth it. You can also place a $3 deposit to reserve a test. Not only will the PSAT be a great introduction to the content of the Scholastic Aptitude Test, but it can also be used to exempt students from certain EOI tests, such as the Algebra II, Geometry etc.  That is if you score exceptionally.

It is highly recommended to take this test. There are limited tests but if needed, the school will be able to acquire more. The deadline is September 12th, see Mrs. Sherbert to sign up.

Are you planning to take the PSAT?
